Jewelry Combinations
Part of the fun of a wonderful collection of jewelry is creating combinations that express your personality. Here are just some of mine.

VICTORIAN silver brooches can look terrific worn in groups.  VICTORIAN silver and sterling hinged bangles and Celtic and citrine brooch. Like the Victorians often did, I wear these bangles on both arms. McCLELLAND BARCLAY lamb brooch worn with an Arts & Crafts enameled hammered silver bracelet which seems to be a hand crafted piece.  View   View   #Q13359

CAMEO of unusually large 2-1/2" size set in white gold filigree. This beautifully carved lady with roses in her hair and on her shoulder also wears a diamond necklace, circa 1900.  View   #U25403

VICTORIAN Bohemian garnets hinged bangle set with a cameo of George Gordon, Lord Byron (English Romantic poet and personality, 1788-1824).   View   View   View   View  View   View   #V29484

Group of Victorian portrait, photographic and memorial jewelry. These mix and match beautifully, and are terrific advertising for the shop as everyone asks about them.

14 and 18 KARAT gold BANGLES with diamonds, rubies, amethysts, sapphires and garnets. One bangle is never enough, and these are delicate enough that I can wear 3-6 all on one arm.

BASKET pins showing size comparison. Sometimes called "giardinetti", or little gardens. These are small enough to wear in multiples. View

BUTTERFLIES in a rainbow of colors to wear on a wide lapel. It's fun to wear three in the front and one just over the back of the same shoulder.

LINKS-Jewelry

PLEASE NOTE: Regretfully, it is no longer possible to respond to individual questions regarding jewelry history, identification or value, or to offer written or verbal appraisals or opinions. The demand for this kind of information is absolutely too overwhelming for one dealer to fill.
I love jewelry, but appraising and selling are two entirely different businesses, and I choose selling and research as my business.

Instead, articles are added on a regular basis to JEWEL CHAT on line Magazine, a wonderful reference for  information on many makers and styles of vintage jewelry.
